Any suggestions?

A bit of a problem has arisen in our game. I let a few of the guys try the newer, more powerful, annoyingly hard to fit in races. We now have a minotaur fighter and wemic witch doctor in our party. That's not the problem, though. I fit them in all right, however, I failed to catch the heinous game balance crime being committed when the wemic was 3rd lvl and the minotaur was second. My 2nd lvl psi and the 2/2 fighter mage and 2/2 priest/mage are having a hell of a time, especially me! The only reason the kid is alive is because I've been the DM (one player left the group so I'm filling in with ad-libbing up the ass), and I've all but forgot about him. The minotaur and wemic are so incredibly unbalancing, my ad-libbing techniques are failing miserably. One half of the party is at the orc and goblin stage, while the other has a shot of taking on 1,000 to 2,000 xp monsters. I have ideas on how to deal with them, but I want other people's input. Perhaps someone will come up with an idea I hadn't thought of. Hey AW, you better hope someone gives a really good answer or your playing Thraxon and Jake playing the wemic is going to be a trying ordeal by the time I get done with you. The fun's about to end.

p.s.- Lost Raven, if you are reading this I have the Giant craft book so expect an e-mail soon.

Hey, it's not my fault you let the wemic WITCH DOCTOR have a 19 str, Devlin.

Strength isn't the problem. As you recall, you have the same stat ...

However, it didn't seem to dawn on you, the experienced player, to make your fighter 1st lvl? You and Jake took advantage of me that time, boy oh boy. With all your abilities you still want to be ahead of the game. What gives? Also, I didn't check the class requirements. You're big boys now, and I figured he would have the foresight to see how unbalanced this would make the game. Guess I was wrong. But you're at fault too. Can you honestly say your minotaur and my psi can adventure together? You don't think it's a little unbalanced? So, basicly, in regard to how you play, you won't deal with this when you're a DM, but it's all right to throw the task at me. Fuck-off AW, this kiddie shit with you and Jake is gonna end on Saturday, and that's from me the player, not the DM.

About the anly thing I can tell you to do is start over. It sounds like a pile of chaos. Also, if they are only 2nd lvl (and one third), then it won't be too bad to start over.
