A Few Notes on Dwarves and Dwarvenhome

Synopsis: Long ago, hill dwarves lived on the other side of the mountains, and there was trade through the mountains by way of a tunnel. That tunnel was closed, but the orcs of New Orc City reopened it after after converting to Sheemish and adopting trade. On the other side, it turns out that the hill dwarves had been forced to leave their Ancient Mines by a curse. They learned instead to live in treehouses. Then the Eternal Party lifted the curse and helped to clear monsters from the old Mines. In gratitude, the dwarves built a lead-lined Top garage for us and set aside rooms for us in the newly opened tunnels. They invited us to help clear their Mines of monsters -- we can keep all we find except religious items.

Here is some common knowledge about the Dwarves.

• The name of the Dwarf-Town under the trees is Dwarvenhome.

• Friendly giant squirrels have been tamed by some dwarves to act as helpers and messengers.

• The Eternal Party is familiar with the following dwarves:
  • Sven, a master weaponsmith and armorer
  • Colin Brewster, a tavern owner
  • Bjorn Delversen, the Mayor
  • Axel Treesmith, a dwarf druid
  • Doc, a cleric of the old religion of the dwarves

• In the mountains high above Dwarvenhome there is a city of mountain dwarves. The mountain dwarves are very xenophobic, and they do not allow non-dwarves to enter their city. However, they are interested in re-opening the old underground tunnel-road from the City of the Mountain Dwarves to the Anciant Mines of the Hill Dwarves.
