Day | Events |
| Liftoff! |
-44 | Varied activities in transit. We investigate the Top. Nomad researches an Air Spell. |
| Transformation and Apotheosis!! |
-47 | R&R (much needed) after the Transformation (we were frazzled). |
-49 | Abrac, attempting to repair a Stasis Tube, is trapped. We break off spell research to take over the ship. |
-52 | We translate the Control Panel. |
-54 | Zoltan and Darla learn how to make course corrections. We make minor corrections. |
| An asteroid storm. Skillful piloting by Zoltan gets us through. We find and take this gem creature aboard (mistake). |
| We thaw out the gem creature. |
| The creature takes over Darla. There is combat and we finally eject it from the Top. |
-60 | Healing and course corrections. We pass through the Asteroid Sphere. Abrac reappears. |
| We chance on a derelict ship. Alterio sacks it for air and info. |
-63 | Alterio uses Speak with Dead to question a Gith that was on board the derelict. |
-65 | We reach a Gith outpost (though we didn't exactly realize what that meant). We contact a Gith, who we interrogate and then space. |
-68 | Raise the Dead (one of the people slain by the gem creature). Research on Gith, on spells. Use divination and Magic Font spells to get info. |
| Raid the Gith outpost. Release a Gith (the other kind) and, later, a Mind Flayer. Ineptly kill a great many people as we flounder about in zero-gee, and yet overcoming the enemy and winning the day (and the post)! |
-74 | Looting, inventory, and similar such. Discover an Air Source!! |
-84 | Looting the Gith outpost. Tow it and the Mind Flayer. |
-138 | Travel to Lothar. |
| A Battle with Space-Dragons. We save parts. |
| Well-earned R&R. |
| We arrive, at last - Lothar! |
| Orbital scan of the planet. |
| We buzz the planet on a tight course for the large moon, but ... |
| Calamity Strikes! Grabbed by an unearthly and inhumane force, we plummet towards the surface of Lothar! As time and space bend around us, we hypothesize that THIS is, in fact, the so-called "Fast Plane." |
| We survive the crash, more or less; the Top is severely damaged. After a little recon we discover that we are in fact on the Storm Cloud of the Giants. We find a cave under the Giant Citadel. We move a healing tube there and hide out. |
| Rest, and keep watch over the Top. |
| We assault the Citadel, in which dwells a powerful Cloud Giant weilding a Sword. An Evil Sword, whose special purpose is to disintegrate Eternal Party Members. We discover this the hard way - Abrac is the first to go. We have some fun times taking the Sword away from the Giant, and some even more fun times taking It away from each other! |
| We rest, and through Divination and Sacrifice, learn much: the Sword does not disintegrate its victims, but teleports them to the 667th layer of the Abyss, yes, that's right boys and girls, to the home of the lowest of the low, Astaroth, the God of Pain! |
| We discover a Demon in the Citadel. We speak to it and then slay it. |
| More rest and Divination. We realize that our teleported comrades-in-arms are being unspeakably tortured so as to feed the power of the new and dispicable godling. |
-152 | Rest and healing in the tube. |
| Capture and talk with an assassin, sent from the surface of the planet. In a quandry, we Quest him to take care of things when we are gone. |
-157 | Healing and Idents. We decide that the only way to save our fellows is to Kiss the Sword (Blehr!) and so to blip to #667. |
| We Do It! |
