Plans from before Reunion 98

Secure the Top and go on the voyage. All animals will remain behind to deter intruders. Set up pad room to accept my emergency teleport in.

A week before leaving:

Inform the Eternals (by note) that Iíll be out of town for a while (no specifics given). Iíll perform a weekly Clairvoyance in our secret Eternal location so if they need to contact me they can do it this way.

Secure most of my magic into the BOH. And NEVER have it leave my person.

Cross ocean and use time copy to complete the duplicate volumes of all spell books. In addition do the following during the cross over:

Have a Oceanic spell set which includes previsions for a Daily surveillance of Top. Weekly check on Eternal and cromagnum hobbits. Teleport home always. Summon a different set of whales, a week at a time, to escort the ship.

Once in the capital city -

Obtain safe lodgings and then magically secure them. Tour the city for sites for 4 weeks, orientation. Obtain not only maps and general information but specific locations, names etc. of magic traders/makers on above lists.

+2 Dagger (the one Abrac holds, not a surplus item)

Abrac's services.

 

Abrac is hoping that with five PERMANENT items AND being in the Empire in person will allow me to be 'ripped off' less.

 

WANT LIST -

Either a +3 dagger or scimitar (with INT, NN and some ability)

Money.

An Enchant an Item scroll to recharge the staff.

Raw Gems/Finished Gems for Top [save gold by cutting the gems myself], these can be worked upon at home. Abrac is hoping to save lots of cash by cutting the gems himself.

Protective Cover for BOH, pre-made or perhaps custom. I'm looking for something that will protect the item from magical and non-magical things. Ideally a +3 Carrier Bag of Protection. And when it fails its save then worry about having the BOH save. Also if I could have it hide the fact that it is magical and its contents are magic that would be an added bonus.

 

Of course before buying any items check them out before hand. And if this means Identify then so be it.

Immediately after purchasing items secure them in the BOH. Hopefully if anyone is using them to track or check on Abrac, placing the focus of the track in an nil-space may foil the traces. Attempt to arrange all separate pickup of items and final transactions on the same day. Then leave the city without warning or notice to anyone.

Cast Non-detections for several days. Using Mount spell Iíll summon a battle horse and be on my way. Spend the next 4 weeks traveling through the outskirts of the city, farmlands even go into the woods, wilderness areas.

Find a secluded wilderness spot just outside the city and cast a Commune with Nature. Before casting the CN, cast a non-detect on self (will all items are in BOH). Abrac wants to establish a well known and well anchored spot (but secret to all else) for potential future teleports into this area.
